💡 Split Your TLEYou can use TLE at both your old AND new station — up to 10 days combined. Many service members use 3–4 days at old station, 6–7 days at new.
PPM/DITY — Make Money on Your MoveGet 95% of what the government would have paid a commercial carrier. Keep the difference as tax-free profit (within entitlement weight).

2. Tare WeightWeigh your truck/trailer EMPTY at certified scale before loading.
3. Gross WeightWeigh again when FULLY LOADED. Net = gross minus tare.
4. PaymentGovernment pays 95% of the linehaul cost + fuel surcharge for your net weight and distance.
5. SubmitWeight tickets + receipts to Finance within 45 days of arrival.
PPM Formula (Estimate)Incentive = Net Weight × Linehaul Rate × Distance × 95%. The DoD uses zip-code linehaul tables + fuel surcharges. Our estimate uses $0.17/lb/100mi as an approximation — actual rate from your TMO will differ.
DITY Advance (60%)You can request 60% of estimated PPM payment in advance from your TO before moving. Must be repaid if actual weight is lower than estimated.
MALT — Monetary Allowance in Lieu of TransportationPer-mile reimbursement for each POV driven to new duty station.

💡 StrategyUse DITY advance (from TO) to cover truck rental costs before the move. Use advance pay (from Finance) to cover deposits and setup costs at new station. Both are available simultaneously.

1-Year WindowYou have exactly 1 year from your report date to use your PCS move entitlement. After that, it's forfeited permanently.
⚠️ Storage LimitsTemporary storage (SIT): 90 days at origin. Non-temporary storage (NTS): up to 1 year at destination. Excess = you pay.
💡 Partial DITYYou can ship some things yourself (get PPM pay for those) while the government moves the rest. Common strategy: ship valuables yourself, government moves furniture.
POV Shipment (OCONUS)Hawaii, Alaska, and overseas: 1 POV shipped at government expense. Some OCONUS locations authorize 2. CONUS-to-CONUS: not funded (you drive and get MALT, or ship at own cost).
ETS / Separation Final MoveOne move to Home of Record (HOR) or Place of Enlistment — whichever benefits you more. Retirement: any CONUS location.
