1. About Veteran Career Path

Veteran Career Path ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered career transition platform operated by StreamSync Solutions, designed to help U.S. military veterans translate their service experience into civilian career opportunities.

Veteran Career Path is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), or any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.

2. Eligibility

By using Veteran Career Path, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
• You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• All information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

3. Account Registration

To access AI-powered features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Subscription, Trial, and Billing

Monthly Subscription

We offer a monthly subscription period for $15. During this trial, you have full access to all paid features of the platform.

Subscription

After the subscription period ends, your subscription automatically renews at $115 per month unless you cancel before the subscription cancels. By starting a trial, you authorize us to charge your payment method the subscription fee immediately, and then the monthly subscription fee on a recurring basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at Contact Form →. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the period ends. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.

Refunds

Trial fees are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion.

Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice to your registered email address. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Access Codes

We may distribute access codes that grant complimentary or discounted access to the Service. Access codes:

• Are personal and non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
• Have expiration dates and may be revoked at our discretion.
• Cannot be combined with other promotions.
• Do not have cash value.

6. Permitted Use

You may use Veteran Career Path to:

• Build and manage your career transition profile.
• Generate AI-assisted resumes, cover letters, and career resources for your personal job search.
• Track your job applications.
• Access career-related information and resources.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the Service to create content for other people's job searches without their authorization.
• Share, resell, or distribute access to the Service or your account credentials.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code of the platform.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to circumvent the paywall or subscription system.

8. AI-Generated Content

Veteran Career Path does not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

AI responses are generated based on the information you provide. The more accurate and complete your profile, the better the results. Garbage in, garbage out applies here as it does everywhere.

9. Intellectual Property

Our content: The Veteran Career Path platform, including its design, code, branding, and non-user-generated content, is owned by StreamSync Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of the personal information, military service data, and content you enter into the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide the Service to you.

AI outputs: AI-generated content created from your inputs (resumes, cover letters, etc.) is provided for your personal use. We make no copyright claims over content generated specifically from your profile data.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Veteran Career Path integrates with or links to third-party services including Firebase, Stripe, Anthropic, and various job boards. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

Links to job boards (Indeed, USAJobs, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, ClearanceJobs, etc.) are provided as a convenience. We do not endorse any specific employer, job listing, or recruiter.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
• AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
• The Service will meet your specific career transition needs or result in employment.
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STREAMSYNC SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StreamSync Solutions and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Virginia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StreamSync Solutions regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
