Veteran Career Path Cookie Policy
Main website
The main website uses essential sign-in, session, security and preference storage. Its cookie banner lets you accept, reject or customize optional Google Analytics and advertising storage. Use Cookie Settings on the main website to reopen those choices; the vcb_cookie_consent localStorage key retains the preference until changed or cleared. Google Analytics and advertising services operate under their own policies. The resume program described below does not inherit those optional tracking choices or load those trackers.
Effective October 18, 2026. This notice covers the independent Veteran Career Path resume program. See the data & AI notice and main website cookie policy.
Essential storage
Firebase Authentication uses browser storage for this program's separate sign-in session. New sign-ins last for the browser session unless you choose Keep me signed in, which persists until sign-out or clearing storage. The acknowledgment key vcp_workspace_storage_choice remembers the essential-storage notice choice until cleared. Account identity, security and purchase recovery are necessary for requested sign-in and paid service; cookie preferences do not grant a purchase or a main-site subscription. The main website's session and preferences are separate.
The resume program stores its account-or-guest entry choice in sessionStorage under vcp_resume_entry. Guest checkout creates a session-only Firebase identity; create an account from that session to keep purchase access across devices. This entry preference contains no resume text.
Optional local resume drafts
Remember my draft is off by default. Enabling it saves resume text and application context in localStorage under resume-studio-draft-v1 on this origin, bound to the program user when signed in. It persists until disabled, cleared or signed out. Use a private device. Clearing browser data erases unsaved local work. It does not delete Firebase data or downloaded files. Background fields are not automatically saved to the device or cloud.
Stripe checkout
Choosing checkout opens Stripe's hosted payment page. Stripe may use essential cookies, local storage and device/network data for secure payment and fraud prevention under its cookie information and Privacy Policy. Our workspace does not embed Stripe tracking or payment scripts. We keep private purchase records on the server for recovery and accounting.
OpenAI and Anthropic
OpenAI and Anthropic are AI processors used through our server API, rather than advertising or analytics cookies in this workspace. Their API processing and retention terms apply to text you choose to submit. No OpenAI or Anthropic tracking script runs in this browser module. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent submitted text from being processed after your separate AI agreement. See the AI processing notice.
No analytics or advertising in this program
This workspace loads no analytics, advertising pixels, social embeds or marketing forms. TikTok is an external link only. Other pages of veterancareerpath.com have separate analytics/advertising preferences; those choices do not turn tracking on in this workspace.
